Lichen Sclerosis aka Kraurosis of the vulva is a common problem that women can face at any age. 

Modern technologies allows us to treat women with this disease on different stages.

The author's method of treating sclero-atrophicus lichen involves the use of an erbium laser and regenerative technologies to eliminate all the symptoms of the disease. 

This technique received AMWC Awards in 2014.

The indications for this procedure are:

  • presence of a histologically verified diagnosis - Lichen Sclerosis
  • formation of discharge foci of likhenification on the surface of the vulva
  • pain and itching in vulva region
  • chronic infections in the vulva

Procedure: author's method of treatment of sclero-atrophic (kraurosis) lichen

Purpose: to eliminate the manifestations of likhenification and vulvar atrophy

How it works: This procedure is performed with 6th generation ablation erbium laser, which allows to remove the affected tissue without the risk of damage healthy tissues. After laser, regenerative medicine drugs are used

Method: after preliminary consultation and determination of the level of invasion, anesthesia is performed in the area of ​​supposed intervention. Laser destruction of likhenifications is performed with the erbium laser (Asclepion MCL31), followed by injection of plasma enriched with platelet or NanoFat emulsion 

Anesthesia: local / general / spinal

After treatment: 2-3 weeks of sexual rest, up to a month without thermal procedures

Duration: it is recommended to repeat the procedure if  needed

Caution: the procedure should be performed by a specialist trained in intimate plastic surgery
